VP, Global Commercial Finance

The VP, Global Commercial Finance is a leader that spearheads business or financial growth within an organization through leading negotiations and developing strategic commercial solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of contract structuring, market analysis, and stakeholder management to drive business growth and profitability. By managing the financial area of the business, the global commercial leader is the key to achieving efficient operational and financial management of business projects. As the global commercial head, the primary mission is to maximize the profitability of the organization. By winning clients and creating marketing and growth strategies, a commercial manager oversees the budgets, expenses and revenue, while delivering state-of-the-art commercial solutions to support business growth.

In this role you will:

Lead Negotiations:

  • Drive and manage high-stakes negotiations with key clients, suppliers, and partners.
  • Develop negotiation strategies to achieve favorable terms and conditions.

Structuring Options:

  • Design and implement innovative structuring solutions to meet business objectives.
  • Assess and evaluate various commercial models to determine the best fit for the company and its clients.

Market Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
  • Customer/Account Modeling and Analysis: Account segmentation, channel strategy, cost -to-serve analytics, ROI, etc.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to inform strategic decision-making.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the identified internal business partners on the development and implementation of effective business intelligence strategies including route-to-market, data analytics and other data resources to increase effectiveness of market strategies.
  • Communicate effectively to ensure alignment and buy-in on commercial strategies.

Contract Management:

  • Oversee the drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
  • Manage contract lifecycle from initiation to closure.

Financial Performance:

  • Monitor financial performance of commercial activities and ensure alignment with budgetary goals.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a team of commercial professionals, fostering a collaborative and high[1]performance culture.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure all commercial activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
We are looking for someone who has:

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Law, or closely related field. Equivalent experience may be substituted for education.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in a commercial management role, with a strong track record of leading successful negotiations and in-depth understanding of contract structuring, financial analysis, and market dynamics.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Experience at ResultsCX or BPO industry.
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
