Life and Health License AdminThe Administrator will obtain and maintain resident and non-resident insurance licenses for various lines of authority in compliance with the applicable state laws and insurance regulations.

In this role you will:
- Complete the required paper forms/applications, request checks, process online submissions, request additional documents such as: surety bonds, errors & omissions coverage, etc.
- Review and process monthly and bi-monthly generated license renewal reports.
- Notify all producers regarding their upcoming license renewals on a monthly basis.
- Research and verify license status, affiliations and appointments weekly.
- Process requests for agent affiliations and/or appointments as necessary in order to ensure company and producer compliance.
- Complete producer new hire process and producer termination procedure.
- Send requested license copies to the sponsoring insurance carriers and/or local offices.
- Monitor and follow-up by email and/or telephone weekly on any outstanding issues with producers, state insurance departments, and insurance carriers.
- Compile business correspondence and manage telephone calls in a professional manner to the producers, insurance carriers, departments of insurance and local office contacts.
- Responsible for ensuring the renewal of resident and non-resident licenses in a timely manner prior to the license expiration date(s).
- Run state-based license and demographic reports (PDB)
- Re-allocate and review p-card payment transactions on a weekly basis.
- Submit personal/agency information changes to state insurance department.
- Work closely with cross-functional groups (Clients, Sites, Licensing Manager, Human Resources, and Site Management) to drive program execution, reporting and tracking, onboarding new licensees
- Foster open communication channels with Insurance Producers
- Partner with Product Management, Site Management, Client Managers, and other business stakeholders in the execution of the agent licensing process and specific client requirements
- Administer and process all pre-applications for various state licenses • Monitor, manage, and track license renewals of existing agent and support staff management licenses
- Monitor Licensed Agents for reportable changes; and educate, advise, gather, and report changes to applicable state departments and background warehouse (BQSD/ROA/ALD) on the National Insurance Producer Registry.
- Assist in development of reference and training materials
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) pertaining to health line of authority forms, rules, filing procedures, and regulatory compliance for a specific client
- Investigate and interpret laws and regulations relevant to health care insurance licensing for purposes of determining impact to agents’ ability to produce binding enrollments, and avoid the fines and administrative actions
- Continual monitoring of state insurance laws, regulations, and bulletins, and forming any needed action plans to ensure the organization's legal compliance
- Liaison with state insurance departments pertaining to compliance and licensure for agents • Track and report all expenses and reporting
- Provide ongoing progress reports on all initiatives and projects in weekly or bi-monthly meetings with stakeholders
- Solid research skills to find reliable sources to uncover information and answer stakeholder questions quickly and accurately, and call out risks
We are looking for someone who has:
- College Degree and/or 3+ years of relevant experience in the insurance industry preferred
- Knowledge of state insurance requirements and/or licensing a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to carry out verbal and written instructions along with strong verbal and written skills
- •Knowledge of industry - Health and Lifeline of Authority (LOA)
- Active Health Producer License preferred, or willingness to obtain resident license
- No issues climbing a stop-step step ladder with a handrail up to 6 steps in file room and carrying up to 10 pounds.
