Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst to support the Billing function within a global customer experience and digital services organization. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, validating and booking revenue through accruals, and actively managing unbilled revenue while aligning with contractual and financial policies.
The position requires strong collaboration across Account Operations, Client Solutions, Workforce Management (WFM), FP&A, and Finance Controllership teams to ensure completeness of revenue capture, minimize leakages, and maintain strong financial governance in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

This is more than a billing role, it’s an opportunity to influence revenue accuracy, strengthen financial controls, and partner with global business teams in a dynamic services environment.

In this position you wil:

What You’ll Own

  • Manage end-to-end AR billing for FTE-based service engagements across multiple client portfolios.
  • Drive accurate and timely invoicing, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and SLAs.
  • Perform revenue accruals, unbilled revenue tracking, and reconciliations aligned with month-end close timelines.
  • Analyse billing inputs, validate headcount-based pricing models, and resolve variances proactively.
  • Partner with Client, Account Operation, Client Solution, WFM, FP&A and Finance Controllership teams to ensure billing accuracy and revenue integrity.
  • Support forecasting, reporting, and audit requirements with strong documentation and controls.
  • Investigate billing discrepancies, recommend process improvements, and reduce revenue leakage.
  • Contribute to process standardization and automation initiatives within the O2C lifecycle.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Client Teams: Address billing queries and provide reconciliations.
  • Client Solutions: Validate pricing constructs and contractual amendments.
  • Workforce Management (WFM): Confirm billable headcount, deployment data, and utilization alignment.
  • Account Operations / Delivery: Reconcile service delivery metrics with billing drivers.
  • FP&A Teams: Align revenue recognition, accruals, forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Finance & Controllership Teams: Ensure compliance with accounting policies, support close cycles, reconciliations, and audit readiness.

Tools & Systems

  • Strong experience in ERP-driven billing environments.
  • SAGE and NetSuite experience is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel skills for reconciliations, analysis, and reporting.
We are looking for:

Experience: 7+ Years
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field
Reporting To: Manager / Senior Manager, Accounting

  • Proven experience in Accounts Receivable Billing within a services-driven organization.
    Deep understanding of accrual accounting, unbilled revenue, and contract-based invoicing models.
  • Ability to manage high-volume, complex portfolios with precision and ownership mindset.
  • Ability to read client contracts for its financial clauses impacting billing process.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Process-oriented thinker with a continuous improvement approach.
  • Flexible to work in Night Shifts (8pm to 5am IST)
