Position Overview

***This is a Nigh Shift role (9PM-6AM PH Time)

The IT Asset Manager is accountable for ensuring that all Information Technology Assets are tracked and monitored which includes but not limited to desktops, desktop peripherals, network gear, servers, security devices, and RSA tokens. The IT Asset Manager will be responsible for leading the IT Equipment Coordination Team and managing/ administration of the IT Assets policies and programs. The IT Assets Manager will report to the Regional IT Manager.

In this role you will:
  • Manage the IT Equipment Coordination Team, accomplish department objectives by managing staff, planning and evaluating department activities. Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees. Ensure a safe, secure, and legal work environment. Help process asset requests by checking the stocks and coordinate with Site IT Admin and requestors for the configuration of requested assets.
  • Assist IT Finance Director in validating asset requests.
  • Process a Service Request to Procurement Team for requested/projected assets.
  • Closely monitor and follow up as necessary for the timely delivery of assets.
  • Coordinate with Finance Team and Site IT team for any movement or transfers of assets from one site to another.
  • Monitor the accuracy of asset transactions such as in repair, In Stock, Loaned equipment to ensure that devices or peripherals stocks are up to date.
  • Coordinate effectively with Finance Team and Site IT Admins for the disposal of IT Equipment.
  • Coordinate repairs and warranty claims for defective assets.
  • Assist in other tasks provided by the IT Regional Manager or IT Operations Director related to IT equipment needs.
  • Ensure that warranty information in the IT Asset Management System is updated.
  • Drive tagging and scanning of IT Assets accurately and diligently.
  • Perform monthly audits on asset reports out of RISE ITSM and partners with Regional IT Manager to support the Asset Lifecycle
  • Send weekly/Monthly/Quarterly report to stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage of processes through creation and documentation. This will include maintenance through regular review and improvement.
  • Generate reports on assets as required by stakeholders.
  • Ensure that SLAs are met for equipment requests.
  • Ensure an accurate upkeep of all software and hardware assets.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
We are looking for someone who has:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business Management, Supply Management, Information Technology, or other closely related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Asset Management.
  • A minimum of one year experience in supervising an IT Asset Management team.
  • Knowledge in ITAM Standards ISO/IEC 19770.
