HR Specialist

The Human Resource (HR) Generalist reports directly to the HR Director and is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the corporate Human Resource department. This position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect business objectives.

In this role you will:

Provide day-to-day delivery of projects, programs, and strategies in assigned areas of Human Resources.

Partner directly with leaders and other HR team members to define and execute HR strategies that align with business needs and objectives; provide guidance and drive results-driven action.

Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance; partner with the legal department as needed/required.

Gather and analyze data and make recommendations to management for continuous improvement; analyze trends and develop strategies to resolve HR issues.

Facilitate a positive environment, build morale, and make a positive impact on business initiatives to increase employee satisfaction, production, and retention.

Educate and train managers on a variety of HR related topics.

Effectively communicate with all internal and external parties.

Discreetly handle confidential company information.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.

Answer questions from employees; referring more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.

Compile departmental reporting for senior leaders.

Maintain knowledge of industry and HR trends and best practices.

Provide change management support as needed.

Work under minimal supervision and offer support and guidance to junior HR staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise.

May be involved in other areas of the HR department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.

Work on special projects and other related duties as assigned.

We are looking for someone who has:

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field. Equivalent experience may be substituted for education requirement.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Human Resources role.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Experience at ResultsCX or BPO industry.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification.
