  • Availability: Full-time work, 5 days a week with shifts between 6AM – 4PMCST, and Weekends OFF!
  • Pay Expectation: Our healthcare accounts start at $630 per month in training
    *Pay rates vary by program fit during selection consideration.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required
  • Language: Fluent in both English and Spanish
  • Typing Skills: Ability to type 30 words per minute
  • Technical Proficiency: This position requires you to toggle back and forth between multiple systems while communicating with the customer. You will need to have intermediate/advanced technical proficiency and call center experience

What should I know for the Interview?

Our Healthcare Advocates help members stay on top of their preventive care by offering and scheduling important health screenings. In this role, you’ll connect with Humana members, explain their screening options, and assist them in scheduling appointments that support long‑term wellbeing.

You’ll use your understanding of medical terms, preventive screenings, and health plan policies to guide each member clearly and accurately. While the program supports seven total screenings, advocates primarily focus on coordinating Colonoscopies (COL), Mammograms (BCS), Annual Check-Ups (ACU), A1C Blood Tests, and Kidney Health Evaluations (KED).

This is a fast‑paced role that requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to support members with care and clarity. With the right training and tools, you’ll help make preventive care easier to access and ensure members feel supported every step of the way.

The member had struggled to find a clinic on her own, so our advocate located the nearest covered provider and secured the earliest available appointment. When the details were confirmed, the member was so relieved and thanked our agent for providing her with a step forward.
